Main Ingredients
- 1 loaf Stale bread, cubed about 10 cups
- 1 cup Chopped onion
- 1 cup Chopped celery
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 2 cups Vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon Dried sage
- 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper to taste
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and celery, and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed bread, sautéed vegetables, vegetable broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the bread is evenly coated.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Let the stuffing cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
