Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup nutritional yeast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the almond milk, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens.
  4. Add the nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  5. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish. Pour half of the sauce over the potatoes.
  6. Repeat with the remaining potatoes and sauce.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
