Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews soaked in water for at least 2 hours
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup nutritional yeast
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions 

  1. Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  4. Serve warm with tortilla chips or over your favorite dishes.
