- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 cup Chopped Onions
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 cups Sliced Mushrooms
- 2 tablespoon Flour
- 2 cups Vegetable Broth
- 1 teaspoon Soy Sauce
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add chopped onions and cook until translucent.
Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become tender.
Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and stir well to combine.
Slowly pour in the vegetable broth while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes until it thickens.
Serve hot over pasta, rice, or as a gravy substitute.
