Ingredients

  • 8 oz Elbow macaroni uncooked
  • 1 cup Raw cashews soaked in water for 4 hours
  • 2 cups Water
  • ¼ cup Nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon Paprika

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a blender, combine the soaked cashews, water, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, turmeric, and paprika. Blend until smooth.
  3. 3. Pour the sauce into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
  4. 4. Add the cooked macaroni to the sauce and stir to combine. Serve immediately.
