Vegan General Tso's Chick'n
A delicious vegan twist on the classic General Tso's Chicken, using plant-based ingredients.

Main Ingredients
- 1 block Extra firm tofu pressed and cubed
- ¼ cup Cornstarch
- 2 tablespoon Soy sauce low sodium
- 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon Maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Ginger minced
- ½ teaspoon Red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup Green onions sliced
- 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds for garnish
1. Press and cube the tofu.
2. Toss tofu in cornstarch until evenly coated.
3. Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add tofu and cook until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
4. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, maple syrup, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
5. Pour sauce into the wok and bring to a simmer. Add tofu back into the wok and toss to coat in the sauce.
6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
