Vegan Faux Cheese Sauce

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Raw Cashews soaked in water for at least 2 hours
- 1 cup Water
- 3 tablespoon Nutritional Yeast
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric for color
1. Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
2. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
3. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 5-7 minutes).
4. Serve warm over pasta, nachos, or as a dip.
