Vegan Cashew Alfredo Sauce Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup raw cashews soaked in water for at least 4 hours
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
1. Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
2. In a blender, combine the cashews, water, nutritional yeast, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
3. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Serve immediately over pasta or as a dip.
