Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a food processor, combine black beans, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Pulse until well mixed but still slightly chunky.
  2. 2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  3. 3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, until browned and heated through.
