Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups Black beans, cooked
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and chopped bell pepper, and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked black beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
  5. Pour in the water and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat and serve in taco shells or tortillas with your favorite toppings.
