Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked beans (black, pinto, or kidney)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. 4. Stir in the cooked beans, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. 5. Bring to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
