Ingredients 

Chicken

  • 8 pieces Chicken pieces drumsticks and thighs

Batter

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 2 cups Water cold
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper ground
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 quart Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. 2. Gradually add cold water to the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
  3. 3. Dip chicken pieces into the batter, then into the flour mixture, and repeat the process to triple dip.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. 5. Fry chicken pieces in hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 15 minutes. Ensure chicken is cooked through.
  6. 6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
