Sushi Rice Recipe
This is a basic recipe for making sushi rice, perfect for sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes.

- 2 cups Sushi Rice
- 2.5 cups Water
- 0.25 cup Rice Vinegar
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Add the rinsed rice and water to a rice cooker. Cook according to the rice cooker's instructions.
In a small saucepan, combine the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Heat over low heat until the sugar and salt are dissolved. Do not boil.
Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a large bowl. Pour the vinegar mixture over the rice and gently fold to combine. Let the rice cool to room temperature before using.
