Main Ingredients
- 3 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1 can beef broth 10.5 oz can
- 1 can condensed French onion soup 10.5 oz can
- 6 rolls French rolls split
- 6 slices provolone cheese
1. Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
2. Add the dry onion soup mix, beef broth, and condensed French onion soup to the slow cooker.
3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
4. Remove the roast from the slow cooker and shred with two forks.
5. Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker and mix well with the juices.
6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the French rolls on a baking sheet and top each with shredded beef and a slice of provolone cheese.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
8. Serve the sandwiches with a small bowl of the cooking juices for dipping.
