Sausage Hashbrown Breakfast Casserole

- 1 lb breakfast sausage crumbled
- 1 package frozen hashbrowns thawed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 eggs beaten
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the hashbrowns, cooked sausage, and 1 ½ cups of the shredded cheese.
In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
Pour the egg mixture over the hashbrown mixture and stir to combine.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Top with the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
