  • 4 medium Potatoes peeled and grated
  • 1 small Onion grated
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. Grate the potatoes and onion. Place them in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out the excess moisture.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes and onion with eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. 3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. 4. Scoop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the hot oil, flattening them with a spatula to form patties.
  5. 5. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
  6. 6. Serve hot with applesauce or sour cream.
