Burger Ingredients
- 2 cups Mushrooms finely chopped
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 can Black Beans drained and mashed
- 1 small Onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- to taste Salt and Pepper
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil for cooking
1. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.
2. Add the chopped mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and become tender.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked mushroom mixture, mashed black beans, breadcrumbs, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
4. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
5. In the same skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and heated through.
6. Serve the mushroom veggie burgers on buns with your favorite toppings.
