Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 800 g Canned Tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • ¼ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add canned tomatoes, salt, sugar, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Blend the sauce if you prefer a smoother texture.
