Manicotti Shells
- 12 pieces Manicotti shells
Filling
- 2 cups Ricotta cheese
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 piece Egg
- 1 teaspoon Dried basil
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook manicotti shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Fill each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture.
Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
Place filled shells in the baking dish. Pour remaining marinara sauce over the shells.
Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
