  • 2 cups Elbow macaroni
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, and cook until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir to coat.
  7. Pour the macaroni and cheese into a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
