  • 1 can Jackfruit drained and shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 8 pieces Tortillas
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup Tomatoes diced
  • 1 cup Avocado sliced
  • 1 cup Cilantro chopped
  • 1 piece Lime cut into wedges

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3. Add the shredded jackfruit, chili powder, cumin, and paprika. Stir well to combine.
  4. 4. Pour in the tomato sauce and cook for 10-15 minutes, until the jackfruit is tender and flavors are well combined.
  5. 5. Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.
  6. 6. Assemble the tacos by placing the jackfruit mixture on each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, and chopped cilantro.
  7. 7. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
