Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage mild or hot
  • 2 bell peppers sliced
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sausages and cook until browned on all sides, about 7-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onions, and garlic. Cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Slice the sausages into 1-inch pieces and return to the skillet.
  5. Add oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
  6. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Serve hot. Enjoy!
