Hamburger Potato Casserole
A hearty and comforting casserole with layers of seasoned ground beef, potatoes, and cheese.

- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 4 cups Potatoes, sliced
- 1 cup Onion, chopped
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 cup Milk
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
In a baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, half of the ground beef mixture, and half of the soup mixture. Repeat layers.
Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove foil, sprinkle with cheese, and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
