  • 1 bottle Red Wine 750ml
  • 1 Orange sliced
  • 8 cloves Cloves
  • 2 sticks Cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 Star Anise

Instructions 

  1. 1. Pour the wine into a saucepan.
  2. 2. Add the sliced orange, cloves, cinnamon sticks, sugar, and star anise.
  3. 3. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it just reaches a simmer. Do not boil.
  4. 4. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. 5. Strain and serve warm.
