Chicken Parmigiana

- 4 pieces Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 2 cups Marinara sauce
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
- ¼ cup All-purpose flour
- 2 Eggs beaten
- ¼ cup Olive oil
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Place chicken in a baking dish. Top with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 20 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
