Cabbage Roll Casserole

Main Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup rice cooked
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
- 1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz)
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
Stir in cooked rice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
In a baking dish, layer half of the chopped cabbage, then half of the beef mixture. Repeat layers.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle with shredded cheese, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
